What’s new on TV during the holidays?

As we enter the holiday dead zone, what’s left on TV that’s new — or at least new to you:

“Kirstie” (Wednesday, Dec. 25, 10 p.m., TV Land)

The pilot for Kirstie Alley’s attempt at reuniting the “Cheers” cast was technically last week. But did you watch it? Neither did Mama, so its rerun, along with “The Exes,” airs on Christmas night when you’re too exhausted to remember what you didn’t get a chance to watch this year.

“Treme” (Sunday, 9 p.m., HBO)

It doesn’t look like Albert (the wonderful Clarke Peters) has much time left before his cancer forces him to bow to that Big Chief in the sky, and considering this show’s refusal to sugar coat any heartbreak, keep a box of tissues handy for the finale of this fantastic series.

“Ground Floor” (Thursday, Dec. 26, 10 p.m., TBS)

The new series from the creator of the quirkily funny “Scrubs” returned to his traditional sitcom roots for this workplace comedy, with mixed results — it often feels like John C. McGinley’s maniacal boss from “Scrubs” got a spinoff. The good news is that this multi-cam sitcom is mindless enough to allow you to enjoy it in your post-Christmas coma.

Matt Smith stars in “Doctor Who.”

“Doctor Who” specials (Christmas, 8 p.m., BBC America)

Leave it to those zany Brits to play back-to-back “Doctor” specials on Christmas Day. “Farewell to Matt Smith,” a tribute to the exiting alien, is followed by his final adventure in “The Time of the Doctor.”

“The Wrong Woman” (Saturday, Dec. 28, 8 p.m., Lifetime)

The eggnog hasn’t even congealed, and already TV movies have kicked holiday cheer to the curb. In this thriller, Lifetime pays homage to Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Wrong Man,” with Danica McKellar playing an unassuming wife and mother suddenly accused of a crime she didn’t commit — in this case, it’s murdering a young woman who was having an affair with her hubby.

“Major Crimes” (Monday, Dec. 30, 9 p.m., TNT)

Like its predecessor “The Closer,” this cop drama works through the holiday season every year. As a bonus, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, a k a Theo from “The Cosby Show,” guest stars as a lieutenant supervising Rusty’s (Graham Patrick Martin) foray into crime-solving when he tries to help the gang track down the person threatening him and Sharon (Mary McDonnell).
