Martin Luther King Jr.’s family got in a fender bender yesterday after participating in the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington.

The family — including MLK’s sister Christine King Farris — were traveling on a large bus when a van ran a red light causing the bus driver to slam on the breaks, according to TMZ.

Nobody on the bus was injured in the crash but CNN reported that one of the people in the van was hurt and taken to the hospital.

Although none of MLK Jr.’s family have spoken about the incident, reality TV star Omarosa Manigualt, who was on the bus, told CNN, “There were children on the bus, seniors and everything. Everybody was thrown out of their seats.”

“We were very afraid,” she said.
