‘Cold’ case in Texas

Kelly Siegler and Yolanda McClary, two crime experts, tackle big, nasty, heartland murder cases in “Cold Justice,” a real-life look at crimes in small towns that don’t have the proper resources to adequately solve them. Siegler, who boasts, “I have tried 68 murder cases in my career. I have never lost,” is a champion of victims. McClary is a retired crime scene investigator from a CSI unit in Las Vegas. In the premiere episode, Siegler and McClary head to Cuero, Texas, to search for new clues that may point to murder in a 2001 death of a woman that had been previously ruled a suicide.

Lord love a ‘Duck’

The hottest show on TV this summer, with the kind of numbers some prestige cable dramas would kill to earn, “Duck Dynasty” has a very simple approach to entertaining its fans: Just turn the cameras on the Robertson family and see what happens. This week, Willie and Korie invite Jase and the kids to live with them while Missy is out of town and there is construction going on at their house. What seems like a good gesture on Willie and Korie’s part turns into conflict between two brothers due to a lack of personal space.

DUCK DYNASTY

Crown of thorns

WARWICK’s (James Frain) campaign with George (David Oakes) has failed, so the desperate Kingmaker turns to Margaret of Anjou (Veerle Baetens), the Lancastrian Queen, as his only option to stop his family from losing everything. To seal the deal, his youngest daughter Anne (Faye Marsay) is married off to the heir to the Lancastrian throne, the cruel and spoilt Edward, Prince of Wales (Joey Batey). Back in London, Edward (Max Irons) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Ferguson) are troubled by news of this new alliance. Warwick, now in control of the country, has Jacquetta (Janet McTeer) tried for witchcraft, but she appeals to her friend Margaret of Anjou for a testimonial. Elizabeth takes refuge at Westminster Abbey and prepares to give birth.
