I was molested during my mammogram: lawsuit

A woman claims she was manhandled during her mammogram by a female technician who even rubbed her boobs against her at Beth Israel Medical Center, according to a lawsuit.

Patricia Mazorra of Pennsylvania says she went to the Manhattan hospital’s Comprehensive Cancer Center on 16th Street for a mammogram and sonogram in December 2012 and was traumatized after being exposed, groped and breathed on, according to court papers.

The bizarre episode began when mammography technologist Galina Dvorkina asked Mazorra a few questions, and then “forcefully pull[ed]down Ms. Mazorra’s robe with both hands so that [her] breasts were fully exposed,” and tucked the robe into Mazorra’s pants “while purposely touching Ms. Mazorra’s crotch area,” according to the Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit.

Dvorkina allegedly commented on Mazorra’s nipples, leaned on and rubbed up against the patient while positioning her in the imaging machine “all while breathing heavily” on her, slid her hand across the woman’s rear end, and pulled Mazorra’s hair aside “for no legitimate purpose.”

Dvorkina said she never touched Mazorra inappropriately.

“In 18 years I never had a complaint,” she told The Post.

Beth Israel declined comment.
