Saudi prince rents SVU star’s home

This prince doesn’t have a chariot, but he does have a Maybach waiting for him outside his whopping $55,000-a-month rental at the Park Imperial, at 230 W. 56th St.

A young Saudi prince has rented the 60th-floor, three-bedroom home of Chris Meloni, the former star of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” The 3,000-square-foot apartment has fabulous views of Central Park, 10-foot ceilings, a large foyer, formal dining room and chef’s kitchen. Despite a prominent spread in Architectural Digest, Meloni’s manse failed to sell last year when it was put on the market for $12 million.

Other owners at the Park Imperial have included P. Diddy, Deepak Chopra and Kobi Alexander, the elusive Israeli tech billionaire genius/fugitive who fled to Namibia. Meanwhile, renters have included Daniel Craig.

Superior sale

Douglas Elliman powerhouse Susan de Franca, formerly of Related and currently CEO and president of Elliman’s new development division, has just sold her stunning Superior Ink condo, at 400 W. 12th St., in an off-market deal for $5 million.

De Franca bought the 1,320-square-foot unit for $3.12 million in 2007. De Franca’s brokers were Town’s Brett Miles and Elliman’s Reid Price. The deal closed Tuesday.
