Departed ‘Homeland’ boss is in ‘The Money’

Former “Homeland” star David Harewood has joined the cast of “The Money,” and an HBO pilot.

Harewood, who played CIA chief David Estes in “Homeland,” has been cast in “The Money” pilot as Kurt Cobbit, the CEO of a parent company run by James Castman (Brendan Gleeson), a power-hungry media mogul, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Nathan Lane will play an aggressive reporter in “The Money,” which is from David Milch (“Deadwood”).

Harewood’s Cobbit is described as “a grandiose, boisterous, irascible ideologue and the CEO of the parent company to Castman’s holdings,” according to the report.
