Paul McCartney shows off American accent

Paul McCartney has one of music’s most beloved voices, as long as he’s not using it for impressions. The former Beatle proved as much on Monday night’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”

In a skit on the episode, the legendary rocker collides with the soon-to-be “Tonight Show” host, resulting in a temporary voice swap. Fallon has fun with McCartney’s iconic Liverpudlian accent, talking about tea and shouting out Honey Boo Boo, while the singer chokes out an unconvincing Jimmy Stewart impression.

The bit ends with McCartney’s punching the former “SNL” star to get his voice back.

While he may not be good with other voices, McCartney showed off the one he’s known for during a performance later on in the show.
