Two suspected thieves with a taste for the finer things stole an expensive jacket from an upscale Midtown clothing store, authorities said.
The theft took place at French clothier Zilli on East 57th Street near Madison Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. on Dec. 3, cops said.
The woman picked up a brown, crocodile-skin jacket and handed it to her partner, who took it into a fitting room, stuffed it in a duffle bag, then exited the room and the store, police said.
Both suspects are believed to be in their mid-20s. The woman stands about 5-foot-3 and the man 5-foot-10.
A woman was sexually abused by a stranger at a trendy SoHo club, law- enforcement sources said.
The 23-year-old Queens woman was hanging out with two men she had just met at W.i.P before going to the restroom at about 1:45 a.m. Monday, sources said.
When she exited, one of the men stuck his hands in her pants and groped her, sources added.
“It’s OK,” the creep allegedly said. “It’s fine. It’s no big deal.”
He fled, and the woman reported the incident to police, sources said. The suspect is believed to stand 5-foot-8.
A woman was dragged along a subway-station platform in Morningside Heights and robbed by three thugs, said law- enforcement authorities.
The victim was waiting on the southbound A-train platform at West 125th Street near St. Nicholas Avenue at around 5 a.m. on Dec. 3 when two women (pictured right) and a man approached, according to police.
They grabbed her, dragged her along the platform and snatched her cellphone, cops said.
In the struggle, she was punched in the face, police said.
The perpetrators were seen on video surveillance after the attack.
Queens
Cops are searching for a man who tried to rob a Jamaica Estates bank.
The suspect walked into the Bank of America branch on Hillside Avenue near 175th Street at 10 a.m. on Nov. 27, police said.
The perpetrator passed a demand note to the teller, cops said.
But the teller back away and the would-be robber fled empty-handed, cops said.
Staten Island
Cops executing a search warrant found a cache of drugs, paraphernalia and ammunition in the shop, car and home of a Charleston auto-glass owner, authorities said.
Charles Castrovinci, 38, had more than an eighth of an ounce of cocaine, Suboxone and ammunition stashed in his shop, his Eltingville home and his Lincoln auto when police raided his property at 5:15 a.m. last Thursday, a Criminal Court complaint asserts.
He was charged with possession of drugs and ammunition, said a spokesman for DA Daniel Donovan.
The Bronx
A thief stole a wallet at a Hunts Point Rite Aid, cops said.
The suspect, in her 30s, was in the pharmacy at Westchester and Longwood avenues at 1:15 p.m. on Nov. 30 when she snatched a wallet that a customer had left on the counter, according to police.
The suspect was seen on video surveillance as she then paid for a couple of items and exited the store with the wallet.
Brooklyn
Authorities are investigating a suspicious Bushwick blaze that injured two people, one seriously.
The fire started on the first floor of the three-story private home on Eldert Street near Wilson Avenue just before midnight Monday, authorities said.
It took 60 firefighters to get the blaze under control, according to the FDNY.
One person suffered serious-but-non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
A second victim suffered minor injuries. Both were rushed to Woodhull Hospital, EMTs said.
