Four injured after car overturns in Bronx

Two people were clinging to life and two others were injured when their car flipped on the Major Deegan Expressway in The Bronx, authorities said.

The Nissan Maxima was traveling southbound when the driver lost control near the Willis Avenue exit at around 3:35 a.m. Monday, and the car rolled upside down, seriously injuring four men in their 30s, officials said.

The driver, Omar Flores, who was charged with DWI, may have been speeding just before the devastating wreck, which ejected two of the men, sources said.

Flores and one passenger are in critical but stable condition at Lincoln Hospital and the other two people are in stable condition at the same medical center, cops said.

It was not clear how much Flores had allegedly been drinking or what caused him to lose control of the car.
