The Big Apple gets juiced

There’s still some juice left in the Big Apple market.

Juice Generation, which already has 10 locations, has signed leases to open three more outposts, including one next to Cipriani across from Grand Central Station. The 1,000 square-foot juice joint will open at 122 E. 42nd St. in December.

The other two are an 800 square-foot spot at 109 East 23rd St. at Park Ave., and a 1000 square-foot spot in Williamsburg, at 210 Bedford Ave.

The chain is also leasing office space for corporate growth in the Grand Central location, which is in addition to its corporate office and commissary in Long Island City.

Juice Generation was represented by Benjamin Birnbaum and Michael Cohen at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank Retail.

We hear … that the original sign from Minton’s Playhouse, the famed Harlem jazz club being revived by former Time Warner chief Dick Parsons, will be part of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. The Smithsonian’s 14th museum, scheduled for completion in 2015, will be located on the National Mall across from the Washington Monument.
