Superintendent carjacked in West Village: ‘I’ll deal with it in my own way’

The building super whose truck was carjacked at gunpoint in the West Village as he dug it out of the snow said Saturday that he’s getting over his ordeal.

“I’m OK. I’m fine,” said Albert Sanders, 45. “I’ll deal with it in my own way.”

Sanders was shoveling snow away from his Dodge Ram on Christopher Street near Hudson Street at about 9:15 a.m. Friday, when a thug flashed a silver gun and took off in the truck — which had been warming up — toward the West Side Highway.
