Gracie Mansion open to visitors with tickets Sunday

Mayor de Blasio will throw open the doors to Gracie Mansion on Sunday so thousands of “everyday” New Yorkers can take a gander at his family’s new digs.

The event, which begins at noon, will include a tour of the 215-year-old Upper East Side home and a chance to meet the mayor.

“I’m thrilled to welcome New Yorkers from across the city into the People’s House,” de Blasio said. “I can’t think of a better way to end the week than by spending it with New Yorkers.”

Visitors who drop in on the mayor will be serenaded upon entry by Music New York and the city Housing Authority’s Youth Chorus.

But getting in might not be that easy. Tickets, which were given out last week online, were snapped up quickly and are now being hawked via Craigslist.

“Extended outdoor wait times are anticipated and attendees are advised to dress warmly,” a city press release warns.
