A quick-thinking Queens man used his cell phone to snap photos through his apartment door’s peephole of a pair of hapless perps who were trying to break in, police said Thursday.
The would-be burglars were trying to pick the lock of what they apparently thought was a vacant apartment near 61st Street and Woodside Avenue in Woodside last Thursday at 2 p.m. when the occupant loudly banged on the door, scaring them off.
But before they fled, he was able to take photos showing their faces.
