The Yankees may have had a lousy year in 2008, but that doesn’t mean there weren’t some quality performances. Sure they missed the playoffs for the first time since the early ’90s, but some of the Bombers managed to put up some decent numbers.
Some newcomers shined, some veterans proved to be worth their contracts, and at least one pitcher went out on a high note.
So these are our picks for the top ten Yankees of 2008. Hopefully 2009 will be a better year.
