SI GUY GUILTY OF ‘HEZ TV’ HELP

A satellite TV operator from Staten Island pleaded guilty yesterday to transmitting programs for the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah.

Javed “John” Iqbal, 45, agreed to spend between 63 and 78 months behind bars for using his business, HDTV Ltd., to provide local access to the Al Manar TV network.

Al Manar – which means “the beacon” in Arabic – was designated a terrorist entity by the Treasury Department in 2006.

Manhattan federal Judge Richard Berman allowed the married father of five to remain free on $250,000 through the holidays.
