PAULA Abdul — Las Vegas stage star?
It could happen, based on reports that the former “American Idol” judge is in serious talks to bring a revue-style stage show to Sin City now that she’s left the TV show.
Abdul is talking to The Venetian, the Wynn Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Hilton, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist Norm Clarke.
Reports of Paula mounting a Las Vegas show have been circulating for several months, but apparently the negotiations have started to get serious in the past few weeks.
Abdul, who just signed a deal to host the live “VH1 Divas” telecast next month, apparently was on the verge of signing a deal for a stage show at the Silverton Hotel in Vegas in 2006.
Some reports linked that deal’s failure to Abdul, who reportedly complained that two hotel workers caused her to miss an early morning flight during New Year’s weekend.
The two hotel workers were later fired.
