Winfrey’s ‘mile-high’ firing suit

When Oprah’s jet’s a- rockin’, don’t come a knockin’.

If you do, you might find yourself in the mid dle of a turbulent lawsuit over who’s doing the nasty on her posh private jet.

A federal lawsuit claims the daytime diva canned one of her personal flight attendants and her chief pilot over “false” charges that they joined the mile-high club aboard her $42 million Global Express XRS.

The canned steward ess, Corinne Gehrls, 39, is lashing back at allegations that she caused some unexpected bumps with married flyboy Terry Pansing, 57, on a June flight with Oprah on board.

The suit claims fellow flight attendant Myron Gooch and Kirby Bumpus — the daughter of Winfrey’s best friend Gayle King — concocted the tale to get them fired.

Gooch and Bumpus “falsely told Winfrey and [Oprah’s production company] Harpo that . . . Pansing and Gehrls had been observed having inappropriate intimate contact outside the cockpit of the plane,” according to the suit filed in Chicago.

Gehrls, of New Hampshire, vehemently denies the steamy allegations and is seeking more than $300,000 in damages in a wrongful-termination and defamation lawsuit.

In the court documents, Gehrls turns the tables on Gooch, claiming Oprah turned a blind eye when Gooch allegedly hopped into bed with King during a flight from the Canary Islands to Chicago in 2008.

“Winfrey knew of, but did nothing about, this highly intimate and unprofessional flight conduct by Gooch,” according to the suit.

Gehrls also claims Gooch threatened to call in sick if he didn’t like his schedule, demanded to stay in fancier hotels than other crew members, and insisted on a flight schedule that let him care for his cats.

She also says Oprah overlooked Gooch’s insubordination, according to the court documents.

Gehrls and Pansing were told to hit the bricks on July 7.

A spokesman for Harpo Productions did not return calls for comment, nor did Pansing, Gooch and Gehrls. Bumpus could not be reached.
