Carter owes $1 mil

What is it with “Dancing With the Stars” and the IRS?

Aaron Carter, who was booted off the show last week, reportedly owes the IRS over $1 million in back taxes.

He’s the second “DWTS” contestant to run afoul of Uncle Sam.

Professional auto racer Helio Castroneves, who won the fifth season in 2007, was accused of income tax evasion (and was eventually acquitted on all six counts).

According to court documents, Carter — who cried on-air early in the competition after being criticized by the judges — owes back taxes dating to 2003.

From that year alone, he owes over $965,000, according to court records.

Carter, 21, who danced on the show with Karina Smirnoff, is the younger brother of Backstreet Boy member Nick Carter.

He also appeared on the E! reality show, “House of Carters” in 2006.
