Cop held in rape of teenager

A NYPD officer has been charged with raping a teenage girl after meeting her in a Brooklyn club, police said last night.

Shawqi Ahmed, 29, met the 18-year-old victim Nov. 26 at the club, sources said.

Afterwards, Ahmed and the young woman went back to an apartment where he allegedly raped her. The victim reported the attack a couple of days later, the sources said.

An NYPD spokesman refused to describe further where the alleged attack took place.

Ahmed, who joined the department in January 2006 and was assigned to the Transit Bureau, was arrested Friday and arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court.

He is being held in lieu of $50,000, a DA’s spokesman said.

Ahmed is the third police officer arrested in as many days.

Juan Acosta, 34, of the 43rd Precinct in The Bronx was arrested Thursday and charged with cocaine trafficking.

He was allegedly caught in a sting operation trying to move 22 pounds of the drug.

On Friday, James O’Connell, 39, was charged with drunken driving after he slammed his car into a toll booth at the Queens entrance of the Midtown Tunnel.
