She’s an im-pom-ster

A few months before breaching White House security, Michaele Salahi managed to break through the Washington Redskins’ defensive line.

The tall, fame-hungry blonde passed herself off as an NFL cheerleader and even performed during the halftime show in September at FedEx Field honoring the team’s pom-pom alumni.

Cheerleaders said they fell for it — at first. “She’s tall and blonde, so she fit right in — it was a no-brainer,” cheerleader alumna Konnie McKee told The Post. “But when I saw her dance, I thought, ‘Hell no!’ ”

Despite some suspicions, there was no flag on the play.

That’s because they had no way of proving she was lying since there were few records available listing all former members of the squad, McKee said.

“The leadership of the Redskin cheerleaders changed hands so many times that no one kept accurate records,” she said. “She was given the benefit of the doubt because who the hell would lie about something this crazy.”

After hearing about how Salahi and her husband had partied with President Obama last week, the cheerleader alumni association confirmed she had never been on the squad.

“The Washington Redskins Cheerleaders Alumni Association does not have any records that would verify Michaele Holt Salahi’s claim to have been a Washington Redskin cheerleader,” said association president Terri Lamb, who posed for pictures with Salahi following their September performance.

Aside from performing before thousands of football fans, Salahi and her husband, Tareq, have also managed to wine and dine with movers and shakers and world leaders, including Bill Clinton and Prince Charles.

The Salahis boasted about their exploits on Twitter and Facebook.

“Honored to be at the White House for the state dinner in honor of India with President Obama and our First Lady!” Michaele wrote after crashing the White House shindig.

The couple had hoped to score a part in a new Bravo reality-TV series. On their Facebook page, they solicit corporate sponsorships, and they reportedly sought to sell their story to the highest bidder.

Mahogany Jones, the couple’s publicist, continues to deny the allegations.
