Jon Gosselin’s girlfriend was in the Upper West Side apartment he claimed she trashed and looted over the weekend — but she was merely picking up her stuff, her lawyer said yesterday.
The former “Jon & Kate Plus 8” star had accused Hailey Glassman of trashing his swank Upper West Side apartment over the weekend while he was in Pennsylvania visiting his eight children.
“She has done nothing other than taking belongings she had the right to take,” said Glassman’s lawyer, Stephanie Ovadia. “This is all for publicity.”
Gosselin’s lawyer said electronics were missing and that a valuable Ming-style vase was also smashed.
Police are investigating the incident, but have made no arrests.
Gosselin shot to fame when he and his wife, Kate, were featured on the TLC reality TV show, which chronicled their lives as parents of twins and sextuplets.
