A massive pot-growing operation went up in smoke yesterday when fire erupted in a Bronx house where a cache of guns was also found, officials said.
“It was like the house was a giant weed farm. I thought it was a fog, there was so much smoke,” said neighbor Elaine Lawrence.
Sixty firefighters responded to the blaze at the two-story home on Hone Avenue near Allerton Avenue in Allerton at 1 a.m.
They found lights used for growing pot along with the marijuana, official sources said.
A Post reporter saw police hauling five garbage bags filled with pot plants from the house. They have yet to make an arrest.
