PR princess hoping to avoid voicemail-hacking indictment

Dethroned PR princess Ali Wise is in talks with Manhattan prosecutors, hoping to avoid a felony indictment on accusations she hacked into the voicemails of her ex-boyfriends’ new girlfriends.

The Barbie-blonde society gal was back in court this morning, and stood smiling slightly in her high heels and tight-fitting white wool coat as a prosecutor said his office has held off on convening a grand jury so that the negotiations can go forward.

“There’s been no grand jury action,” Assistant DA Jeremy Glickman told a Manhattan Criminal Court judge. “We have been working on a disposition. There is no disposition at this time.”

Wise won’t have to come back to court until April 6, at which time a deal, a delay, or an indictment will be announced.

Wise is accused of computer trespass, eavesdropping, computer tampering and harassment and stalking.

As originally revealed by the Post’s Page Six, Wise allegedly used widely available “spoofing” software to hack into the voicemails of interior designer Nina Freudenberger, with whom Wise had an ex-boyfriend in common — Josh Deutsch, the CEO and founder of Downtown Records.

She made hundtreds of spoofed calls into Freudenberger’s cell and voicemail systems, authorities said.

She’s also accused of making at hundreds of additional calls into the voice mails of three other victims whose names have not been revealed.

Spoof software lets users make calls anonymously by substituting their actual phone number with any number of their choice on the caller ID of whomever they’re calling. Wise allegedly called into her victims’ lines while pretending to be them, thereby gaining access to their voice mails.

Wise has been a regular on the gossip pages, mainly for her tumultuous, on-and-off-again romance with hotelier Jason Pomeranc. Sources have told Page Six that Wise’s other alleged victims are women who have dated Pomeranc and Deutsch.
