Landlord can’t ‘bare’ it

A West Village art gallery whose window display last February featured a naked couple has been rebuffed by its landlord.

The Chair and the Maiden will leave 19-21 Christopher St. for Chelsea at month’s end, owners David Zelikovsky and John Dabu said yesterday.

British artist Brian Reed stood a naked Megan Hanford in the window below a suspended web made out of shark teeth and clay pipes, all on sale for $30,000 — Hanford, 25, not included. She was later joined by a naked man.

The block includes, a kids’ hair salon, and a center for abused children.

“All I got out of this was grief, annoyance and accusations . . . that I was turning a blind eye,” said landlord Jon Posner, 44.
