‘Jackie Gleason Show’ star Jane Kean dies in LA

Jane Kean was 90 years old.

Jane Kean, who played Trixie Norton opposite Ed Norton (Art Carney) in the ’60s-era “Honeymooners” skits, died Tuesday in LA. She was 90.

Kean joined “The Jackie Gleason Show” in 1966 when Gleason moved his popular CBS variety series from New York to Miami Beach.

She played Trixie from 1966 to 1970, with Sheila MacRae playing Ralph Kramden’s sassy wife, Alice — roles immortalized by Joyce Randolph and Audrey Meadows in the ’50s.

Kean began her show-biz career in vaudeville and also appeared in movies, the Broadway stage (“The Pajama Game,” “Take Me Along,” with Gleason) and on TV (“The Phil Silvers Show,” “Make Room For Daddy”).
