TONIGHT “The Ap prentice 2” will all come down to brainy blonde Jennifer Massey versus the super soldier Kelly Perdew.
When cameras go off after tonight’s live telecast one will be fired, the other will have snagged a big-bucks job working for Donald Trump.
Massey, 30, an Ivy league lawyer who’s trounced any rival she’s come up against in Trump’s boardroom, has a distinguished career as a San Francisco lawyer who rode the dot-com bubble until just before it popped and then jumped into securities law.
“Her ability to communicate with people allows her to go ahead and make it to the top of whatever she wants to accomplish,” her husband of two years, Aron, told The Post yesterday. He says, that he knew Massey would make it to the finale, “when I kissed her goodbye at the airport,” when she was leaving to participate on the show.
Perdew a West Point grad and MBA/JD – whose younger brother was also in the Army and recently returned from a tour of duty in Iraq – was also destined for the finale, his fiancé Therisa Stewart says. “He’s the most remarkable person I’ve ever met,” she says, noting his honesty, integrity and brains among his top traits.
“Last season going into the final boardroom I had a pretty good idea who I was going to choose,” Trump told The Post yesterday. “This time I truly don’t know yet.”
