STRAHAN BLOCKED; JUDGE BARS GIANT FROM HOME OVER WIFE-ABUSE CLAIM

Giants star Michael Strahan was barred from his own home yesterday by the judge in his domestic-violence case after his anguished wife made new charges of abuse and presented graphic photos of injuries she claims she suffered at his hands.

A teary Jean Strahan testified that Michael’s physical violence against her dated back to January 1996, three years before the couple married – and once included body punches so forceful that she urinated blood.

“On Easter 1996, he punched me in the middle of the face,” she told a hushed crowd in an Essex County courtroom.

“I fell to the ground and knocked my teeth on the floor. He continued to beat me, mostly focusing on my body.”

Her lawyer, Ellen Marshall, put into evidence photos of bruises sustained in another alleged beating, which took place while the Strahans were visiting his parents in Germany.

“One time, he punched me in the kidneys. I was peeing blood,” Jean said, sobbing throughout her testimony – as her husband smirked.

The violence subsided after the couple underwent therapy, she said, but picked up again after the birth of their twin daughters in October 2004.

Michael Strahan filed for divorce on Monday, but yesterday’s proceeding stemmed from an argument at the Strahans’ Montclair home on March 10.

In the end, Judge Thomas Zampino dismissed the complaint against Strahan on the grounds that there was no physical violence in the argument, the only incident he was considering.

But the judge barred the giant Giant from the marital home – even during his court-sanctioned, every-other-day visits with the twins.

A nanny will bring the children curbside so that Michael can see them without entering the house.

The judge also allotted Michael and Jean $100,000 each to cover their expenses for the next few months.

The remainder of their joint holdings – described in court papers as totaling close to $20 million – is frozen.

It was the couple’s money that provided the flashpoint for last week’s argument, which occurred when Michael confronted Jean about almost $1.7 million she had transferred from their joint account into her personal savings account.

“Michael came charging in, saying, ‘Where’s my money?’ ” Jean testified.

“He said, ‘Give me my f- – -ing money back’ . . . He was yelling so close that spit was hitting my face.”

Jean said she calmly explained to her husband that she had taken the money because he had transferred some to his own account, and had cut off her American Express card.

“I was afraid at this point,” Jean told the judge. “He looked at me with such hate.”

She admitted under cross-examination that he did not touch her during the argument – and after the argument, she transferred another $1.6 million from the account.

When Strahan took the stand, he admitted to cursing, but denied being aggressive.

“The closest I ever got was six feet,” he said.

“I was never in her face. I raised my hand at the end of the discussion and said, ‘Put the f- – -ing money back into the account.’ ”

Under cross-examina- tion, Strahan denied ever hitting his wife.

His father, Gene, told The Post, “I definitely didn’t see him hitting her at all.”
