LONG Island loud-mouth Joey Buttafuoco says that his ex-wife Mary Jo – who once took a bullet in the head for him – is “the meanest person on the planet.”
Buttafuoco dropped the bombshell during an appearance on “Maury” taped earlier this week and slated to air next Monday.
“I don’t blame her right now, because she went through a lot,” Buttafuoco says. “But you know what? I don’t have to be part of that. I made my amends. Whether she wants to accept it or not, it’s not my bag.”
Buttafuoco refused to clarify his statement – or even talk further about his ex-wife. Host Maury Povich did not press Buttafuoco further.
Fisher and Buttafuoco became international tabloid stars 16 years ago, when Fisher, just a teen, shot Buttafuoco’s then-wife, Mary Jo, in the head while having an affair with Joey.
Buttafuoco’s current wife, Evanka, appears on “Maury” with her husband and Fisher to discuss how an ex plicit video of her and Joey found its way to the Internet.
She claims that they had no idea that they were filmed having sex in a stranger’s bedroom while attending a party.
“Months later, we find out that there were cameras and that everything was wired,” she says. “We go to a party, we’re going to stay overnight. Let me take my husband away for a couple of hours and share an intimate moment.”
