David Hasselhoff’s new video is what ’80s dreams are made of

Vikings, dinosaurs and mullets, oh my!

David Hasselhoff gave the Internet an even greater gift than the new “Star Wars” trailer on Friday with the release of his glorious, ’80s-inspired music video “True Survivor.”

Clad in washed-out jeans, a varsity jacket and a mullet, the Hoff battles an array of flame-throwing, gun-wielding baddies — along with a few of the prehistoric kind — all the while crooning beside a “Back to the Future”-eque ride.

From Jared Leto to DJ Afrojack, the Twitterverse is already exploding over the video, one of the lead tunes from the Swedish martial-arts comedy “Kung Fury,” which debuts on YouTube May 28.

And celebs aren’t the only ones salivating over every scene.
