Paying proper tribute to Fort Hood’s fallen

THE ISSUE: Pres. Obama’s memorial address to the troops and victims’ families at Fort Hood.

More fancy words from a president who did not serve his country (“President Pays Solemn Tribute,” Nov. 11).

What is this empty suit going to do about this terrorist attack on American soil?

I am not a big fan of President Obama, and I disagree with his mindset and policies much more often than not. But we need to give credit where credit is due.

Obama’s stirring and emotional speech at the memorial for the fallen soldiers at Fort Hood was nothing short of sensational.

Kudos to him on a job well done. He definitely got it right this time.

Obama wants to study the accounts of what happened at Fort Hood and not make a hasty decision on Maj. Nidal Hasan — just the opposite of what he did with his professor friend, Henry Louis Gates.

He’s trying to cover up the first terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11.

What alternate world is Obama living in? He claims we may never know why a hateful Islamist killed 13 soldiers at Fort Hood and wounded many others.

If Obama wants to know why Hasan did what he did, he needs to recall the shout “Allahu akbar” as he struck.

Obama treating the Fort Hood killings as criminal is no different than President Clinton calling the 1993 WTC bombing criminal. Do you see a pattern developing?
