AMAZIN’ DISCOUNT DUCATS

Mets ticket prices are heading south along with the team’s record.

The not-so-Amazin’s announced yesterday they are cutting prices — in some cases 50 percent — for 13 of the 26 remaining games at Citi Field.

The cheaper ducats are available to members of the ticket-discount group TheaterMania.

Metropolitan Box seats priced at $180 can be had for $90 for six games beginning tomorrow night. The discount also applies to tickets originally costing $150, $138 and $90. Four other games have 40 percent reductions, and three games have 33 to 34 percent cuts.

In a statement, the Mets said they’ve sold more than 2.9 million tickets so far this season and that Citi Field has played to 94 percent capacity through 55 home games. That’s up 6 percent over last year’s final season at Shea, which held nearly 16,000 more seats than Citi.
