Girls soccer roundup: Bruno leads MSIT over Port Richmond

McKee/Staten Island Tech remains unbeaten.

Jacquelyn Bruno scored two goals and dished out an assist for MSIT in a 6-0 win over Port Richmond in PSAL Class A Staten Island girls soccer Sunday. The sophomore has 13 goals and six assists this season for the Sea Gulls (6-0-1).

MSIT has won all but two games by six goals or more and and has not been challenged inside the division outside of a tie with rival Tottenville. Deanna Veasey and Samantha Cunzo each had a goal and an assist. Arianne Molloy had two assists. Port Richmond is 0-7-1.

Leon Goldstein 8, James Madison 0: Pamela Wishart and Jillian Carmody both scored twice for Goldstein (6-3) in Brooklyn A-III. Wishart, a freshman, now has 11 goals this season. Caitlin Corcoran added a goal and an assist. James Madison is 1-6

PSAL CLASS B

Far Rockaway 2, Campus Magnet 0: Deanna Perez and Lixi Mejia Gutierrez each scored goals for Far Rockaway (3-3) in Queens B-VI. Iris Phagoo made eight saves for the shutout. Campus Magnet is 1-6.

HS for Math and Science 2, Choir Academy 1: Tammi Hawa scored a goal and dished out an assist for HS for Math, Science and Engineering (7-0-1) in Bronx/Manhattan B-I. Melissa Yee added a goal. Choir Academy is 4-4.
