That’s one ugly baby!
Some unsuspecting New Yorkers were scared out of their wits by a demonic robot baby hidden in what looked like an abandoned stroller – a shriek-inducing prank to promote the new horror flick Devil’s Due.
“Why would they do this?” shouts one man in a video clip about the prank after he took a peek into the stroller and the animatronic “devil baby” popped up and howled like a wild animal.
In the short video – aptly titled “Devil Baby Attack” – passersby notice the stroller and bend over to investigate.
The bald-headed, red-eyed little monster then pops out, shrieking and in some cases spewing a ghastly liquid from its mouth. Hidden cameras caught the priceless reactions.
The baby was created by the techies at Thinkmodo, a new York-based viral video marketing outfit.
Devil’s Due opens in theaters on Friday.
