Both pieces were designed by Carolina Herrera, who has long been the designer of choice to Upper East Side society princesses and ladies who lunch.
Lee accessorized with a simple strand of pearls and a flower brooch. She wore beige pumps.
Lee, who beamed during her sweetheart’s swearing in, later traded the gold coat for a simple white sweater for the receiving line of inaugural guests.
