Gwyneth Paltrow hints at possible ‘SNL’ duet with Cee Lo Green

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow hinted Monday that she might sing a duet with singer Cee Lo Green when the two stars appear on “Saturday Night Live” this weekend.

Appearing on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Paltrow — who performed a cleaned-up version of Green’s hit “F*ck You” as a guest star on “Glee” in November — said she had been in touch with the Gnarls Barkley singer and former Goodie Mob rapper about performing together on “SNL.”

“We’re sort of emailing each other, we don’t know where that’s gonna go,” she said. “But I am such a big fan of Cee Lo, he is so gorgeous and talented and amazing. We’ll see.”

In December, Green went further and suggested that he and Paltrow could collaborate beyond “SNL.”

“We’re actually working on something,” he told E! Online. “We’ve been considering a few things actually. You know, we’ll see what pans out. It’s a little too early to commit to a statement and I won’t ruin the surprise because whatever we’re going to do is going to be extra cool.”

Paltrow shows off her vocal talents in the upcoming movie “Country Strong,” in which she plays a country singer. She sings the movie’s title track, which is in the running to be nominated in the Original Song category for the 83rd annual Academy Awards.
