A teenager was killed and seven others injured on Staten Island following a horrific car crash, police said.

Cops today arrested the suspected reckless driver who caused Monday night’s deadly accident.

Brian Pittsley, 25, was nabbed in Brooklyn after a brief chase through backyards in Bensonhurst, police sources said.

Pittsley has five prior arrests dating back to 2003, including busts for grand larceny, assault, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and petit larceny, the sources added.

He was taken into custody and is expected to be hit with a slew of charges.

Pittsley was driving a group of seven teens in a Chevrolet Suburban when he allegedly came careening down Hillside Terrace and Hylan Boulevard in Great Kills at 9:45 p.m. and blew through a stop sign.

This caused a Nissan Sentra, driving on Hylan, to slam into the rear of the packed car, sources said.

The Suburban flipped and crashed into a parked Chevrolet Blazer before coming to a stop, cops said.

Pittsley allegedly fled the scene before police arrived.

All eight victims were rushed to Staten Island University Hospital in Ocean Breeze, where Angel Rivera, 18, died from his injuries, police said.

Rivera’s mother, Mery Rose Vega, 34, said that Rivera had a 9 p.m. curfew and called at 8 p.m.

“He said ‘Mom I’m having such a good time out here with my friends,” she said. “Don’t make me come back already, please. Just a little longer.’”

Rivera’s aunt, Minerva Sablosky, had custody of Rivera while his mother worked abroad. She said that Pittsley and the teens, who she did not know, drove to their home from the mall and the teenagers went out joyriding.

When Rivera didn’t show at 9:30 p.m., she said, they went out looking for him.

“Intuition told us something was wrong,” she said. “Soon the hospital called us and told me he had head trauma and that he didn’t make it. I couldn’t bear to see the body.”

Rivera loved video games and electronics, his mother said.

“He wanted to go to school for computer graphics,” Vega said. “He cared about his friends. He was very respectful. I’m still in shock.”

Another passenger, a 17-year-old girl, had her right arm partially amputated.

Two girls, ages 16 and 18, and an 18-year-old boy suffered facial injuries, while a 16-year-old girl broke her ankle.

An 18-year-old boy suffered a wound to his left hand.

The driver of the Sentra, a 20-year-old man, is being treated for body trauma, police said.
