Yank-logo suit nixed

A Yonkers woman who sued the Yankees over the team’s famed “top hat” logo struck out in court yesterday.

Manhattan federal Judge Deborah Batts tossed Tanit Buday’s suit charging that her late uncle never got paid after dreaming up the design in 1936 at the request of then-team owner Jacob Ruppert.

Batts noted that Buday’s copyright claim was “preempted” by a 1976 law.
