Zimmerman arrested, ‘pointed shotgun’ at girlfriend

George Zimmerman was arrested Monday after the notorious ex-neighborhood watch man allegedly pointed a shotgun at his girlfriend during an argument before smashing a glass table with the butt of his weapon.

Zimmerman was charged with assault and battery after getting into a blowout fight with gal pal Samantha Scheibe, who tried to kick him out of their home in Apopka, Fla.

As Zimmerman packed away his firearms, he allegedly “cocked the shotgun” and pointed it at the woman, police said.

“You put your gun at my freaking face, and told me to get the f–k out,” Scheibe can be heard yelling at Zimmerman during a call she made to 911l.

“Get out of my house. Do not push me out of my house. Please get out of my house. Are you serious right now?”

Scheibe told police that Zimmerman smashed her sunglasses and coffee table before pushing her outside and barricading himself inside.

Zimmerman, who was acquitted earlier this year in the racially charged shooting death of black teen Trayvon Martin, surrendered peacefully when cops arrived.

“Clearly, he’s had the opportunity to encounter situations similar to this in the past,” said Seminole County Deputy Chief Dennis Lemma.

While waiting inside the home, Zimmerman made a 911 call of his own to say that Scheibe had become unhinged.

“I have a girlfriend, who, for lack of a better word, has gone crazy on me,” Zimmerman said.

Scheibe said that Zimmerman had a Kel-Tec Shotgun, an AR-15 assault weapon and two handguns in the home.

Lemma said no one was hurt and no one else was at the home when deputies arrived.

Neighbors were appalled to learn that the killer vigilante of Sanford, Fla., was causing problems in their town.

“Just when you thought you heard the last of George Zimmerman,” said neighbor Catherine Cantrell.

She said she had twice seen a man who looked like Zimmerman get out of a truck that’s been in the driveway for nearly a month.

The truck that was there Monday appeared to be the same one reporters have seen Zimmerman drive previously.

“I’m in absolute shock. He was never outside. It’s not like he was out flaunting around,” she said.

Cantrell said the woman who lived in the home was very sweet and quiet.

Sarah Tyler, 26, who lives across the street from the tan stucco house on a cul-de-sac of single-family homes in Apopka, said, “It’s kind of frightening.”

Zimmerman, 30, who had claimed self-defense in the Martin case, has had other brushes with the law since his acquittal.

He and his estranged wife were involved in a domestic dispute in September just days after Shellie Zimmerman filed divorce papers, but no charges were filed.

Zimmerman has also been pulled over three times for traffic stops since his acquittal.
