‘Cannibal’ wife tale

The wife of the “cannibal cop” is poised to help stick a fork into him.

Prosecutors said yesterday alleged cannibal wannabe Gilberto Valle’s estranged spouse will testify against him at his upcoming trial.

As part of his defense, the six-year NYPD veteran admits to going to the home of a woman he is accused of planning to kidnap last March but only to drop off his wife who had lunch plans with her.

Kathleen Cooke Mangan is expected to deny that claim and say that she hasn’t seen the woman in more than a year, Manhattan federal prosecutor Hadassa Waxman said.

Mangan spurred Valle’s arrest last year when she contacted the feds after allegedly finding his twisted to-do list on her computer.

Valle is charged with scheming to kidnap and eat women but insists he was merely engaging in deviant fantasies online.

Jury selection is set to begin tomorrow.
