Turns out screen legend Robert De Niro rides the rails like the rest of us — and, apparently, chows down there like any other subway slob.
Fresh off his role as an average Joe in “Silver Linings Playbook” — which earned him a nod for Best Supporting Actor — De Niro appears in this whimsical shot for People’s upcoming issue on great performances of 2012.
“It’s nice to win, but if you don’t, your life goes on. You meet people. It’s nice. Enjoy it,” De Niro — a two-time Oscar winner and seven-time nominee — tells the magazine.
