Trump’s hot under collar

It was “The Apprentice: Courtroom Edition.”

Donald Trump took the witness stand yesterday to slap down allegations that he stiffed a licensing firm in the launch of his clothing line, insisting it was his TV show that helped him start the label.

“This all happened because of the success of ‘The Apprentice,’ ” he scoffed in the Manhattan Supreme Court trial, where ALM Unlimited is accusing him of halting payments after it scored a licensing deal for the Donald J. Trump Signature Collection.

Trump, 66, contends he signed an agreement with ALM CEO Mark Hager that would give the firm a commission only if it secured a $25 million deal over seven years with a manufacturer.

“You were the ones who said you were going to get this great, wonderful deal and you didn’t,” he barked at Hager, who was in court.

ALM says it brokered a deal with apparel giant PVH, but Trump VP Alan Garten told The Post it was for “significantly” less profit.

And Trump testified it was TV host Regis Philbin, not ALM, who first connected him to PVH.

Trump will return to the witness stand on Monday.
