B’klyn sex-lure killers convicted

The two Brooklyn killers who lured their victim to his own execution with naked photos of a curvy teen were convicted of murder today.

A Brooklyn Supreme Court jury found Jimmy Copeland, 26, guilty of fatally shooting Dwayne Burnett, 26, on the orders of Ragene Powell-Dickerson, 29, in Brownsville in 2010.

Copeland and Powell-Dickerson lured Burnett to his death by having Copeland’s sister send him sexy texts and graphic photos of a sexy teen both the killers had already bedded.

“He knew the best way to lure Dwayne was with a female,” said the victim’s sister, Lageneva Burnett, 25, who rejoiced at the guilty raps.

“I’m so happy. It’s not going to bring him back, but I’m so happy justice was served.”

Copeland’s sister and the teen were initially hit with murder charges but testified against the killers in exchange for deals that gave them reduced sentences of just four to 12 years.

Copeland and Powell-Dickerson could face life in prison when they are sentenced May 13.
