Eagles will sink at ‘Linc’ again

Including the 1997-2012 seasons in The Post, Cat’s record in print stands at 480-408 (54 percent) against the spread.

SATURDAY

North Carolina (pick) over PITTSBURGH: Panthers come off a no-fluke win over Notre Dame — very satisfying, off last season’s near-miss in overtime. Off their sluggish 1-5 seasonal start, Tar Heels now swoop in to pick up the pieces behind clever, versatile stand-in quarterback Marquise Williams, who figures to give Pitt defensive personnel fits. Beat goes on for Carolina (pick), for one unit.

SUNDAY

Redskins (+3½) over EAGLES: Home side caught ’Redskins under-prepared for fast-paced offense in their Week 1 visit, then subsequently kicked the Buccaneers and Giants while they were down, exposed the Raider secondary, and caught the Packers without Aaron Rodgers in other road adventures. But they’re 0-4 this year at the Linc. Nick Foles has been impressive, but Chip Kelly’s offense couldn’t beat Cowboys or Giants in South Philly. Washington special teams and ability to close out games are a concern, but price is right. Redskins (+3½) pull out all stops, for one unit.

LAST WEEK: 1-1. Red Raiders now past their peak (Kansas State, plus one unit). Not best tactical day for Chicagoans (Bears, minus one unit).

SEASON: 12-8-2.
