Bobcats assistant Patrick Ewing wasn’t thrilled about the magical night of Carmelo Anthony, who dumped a franchise and Garden record 62 points on his club in the Knicks’ 125-96 win Friday.
“I’m upset right now because we just lost,” Ewing said, according to a report. “I’m not talking. I have no comment on what happened.’’
Nevertheless, Carmelo Anthony said Ewing congratulated him.
Ewing reportedly said: “You see people with nights like that and tonight was just his night.”
“Everything that he shot looked like it was going to go in. He had a great game. We tried to double him, get the ball out of his hands. He was hot.”
