Dante de Blasio made a list of the year’s most influential teenagers thanks to his giant awesome afro.

Time magazine named the 16-year-old son of mayor-elect Bill de Blasio one of the “The 16 Most Influential Teens of 2013,” claiming the Brooklyn teen is New York City’s latest fashion icon.

“Dante’s now-iconic afro has starred in a campaign ad, inspired a New York Times Style section piece and even gained President Obama’s attention,” the mag states.

Other exceptional teens named include New Zealand singer “Lorde,” whose hit “Royals” topped the charts for weeks, Malala Yousafzai, the 16-year old Pakistani student who was shot in the head by members of the Taliban — and, of course, 19-year-old Justin Bieber.

Malia Obama, 15, — whose stance on gay marriage has influenced her president papa — also made the list.  So did 16-year old New Zealand-born golf star Lydia Ko, 17, the youngest person ever to win a professional golf tour.

The list  ranks the teens in no particular order and was published on Tuesday.

It also names actress Hailee Steinfeld, 16, computer genius Nick D’Aloisio,18, and gold medalist Missy Franklin, 18.

De Blasio is a junior at Brooklyn Tech high school.
