Two men were busted after allegedly producing phony Super Bowl tickets that looked so real, authorities said they’d likely fool security at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
Using the same photo-grade paper the real tickets are printed on and an Upper East Side Kinko’s, the suspects duped fans out of thousands of dollars, authorities said Tuesday.
“To the best of our knowledge, if presented to a person at the stadium, you will gain entry,’’ a law-enforcement source told The Post.
Queens DA Richard Brown said doctored parking passes also were peddled, “creating a security nightmare for the NFL and the vast army of local, state and federal law-enforcement agencies handling security operations’’ at the stadium.
The suspects, Damon Daniels, 43, of Queens and Eugene Fladger, 32, of Philadelphia, were arrested Monday at a White Castle hamburger joint on Webster Avenue in The Bronx after an undercover sting.
The duo is accused of selling at least 79 counterfeit tickets to various events for a total of $10,000.
The fake Super Bowl ducats (left) had a face value of $1,500 and came complete with NFL logo and bar code.
They were sold online and then shipped by FedEx, law-enforcement sources said.
