NYPD officers show support for beaten cop

Several dozen uniformed cops packed a Queens courtroom on Monday to support one of their own who was brutally beaten almost to death by a muscular stranger while cell phone cameras recorded the bloody incident.

Hayden Holder, 29, was offered 23 years in prison in exchange for a guilty plea to second-degree attempted murder for the Nov. 17 brawl outside of a Queens diner with Sgt. Mohammad Deen.

“This case will be presented to the grand jury as a first-degree attempted murder charge,” said prosecutor Mark Misorek.

If convicted, Holder faces 25 years to life without parole.

The judge adjourned the case with the offer still on the table until Jan. 21, where, if Holder turns down the offer, the case will go to the grand jury.
