Gun kid, 10, foils home invaders

A fearless 10-year-old fought off two home invaders in Brooklyn last night, disarming one of the men — and then firing a shot at him with the thug’s own gun, cops said.

The brave boy escaped to his bedroom after the two men, posing as FedEx deliverymen, entered his family’s Canarsie home at 5:30 p.m. and ordered two teens to stay in the living room while they searched the house.

One of the men tried to reach into the boy’s bedroom with the gun in his hand — and the quick-thinking youngster slammed the door on him so hard, he dropped the weapon.

The boy picked up the gun and fired off a shot. The robbers then fled, but not before one fired a shot at the kid. No one was hit.

A neighbor said the family owns a business. Two BMWs could be seen in their driveway.

“They have a store, so maybe the person who robbed them knew there was a lot of cash in there,” said Kimberly Lindo.

“Look, they have two brand-new BMWs in the driveway,” she said. “I don’t know, that’s kind of unusual for this neighborhood.”
