A fast-food worker foiled robbers with an ingenious drive-through strategy.

Gun-wielding thugs were knocking off a Burger King in Stockton, Calif., when the restaurant employee spotted their getaway car — unlocked and running — outside, officials said.

The sharp worker slipped out, jumped in the car and sped off. Cops soon hunted down the suddenly wheel-less thieves, authorities said.

Hungry robbers knocked off a butcher in Montclair, Calif., over the weekend, taking 50 pounds of carne asada — marinated grilled beef — authorities said.

Unfortunately, the evidence was probably char-broiled and eaten during a Memorial Day celebration, cops said, noting the crooks had made off with items “consistent with a barbecue.”

Consider this tab settled.

Leo and Dee Samad keep a refrigerator stocked with beer in the backyard of their Villa Hills, Ky., home. For years, they’ve been troubled by a suds-siphoning crook.

But the couple was ready to forgive and forget after recently finding seven $20 bills and an apology note in their outdoor fridge.

Dee, 69, wants to offer the thief a hug and a brew.

“My husband said he would be welcome in our home anytime,” she said.

Retired doctors Joe and Doris Lindner took nearly three years to complete America’s greatest burger journey.

The trip began after they read a 2010 USA Today article profiling 51 great hamburger joints — one in each state and Washington, DC.

They missed only one spot — a Rhode Island restaurant that went belly up before they could get there.

The current record of 16 is shared by three campuses.
