Dan Harmon, who created and executive-produced NBC’s “Community,” could be rejoining the show after being fired last May.
Harmon, who clashed frequently with former series co-star Chevy Chase over the show’s direction, is in talks with Sony TV to return to the chronically-low-rated NBC sitcom.
Harmon, who does a podcast, reportedly told fans in the audience last Sunday that he’d been asked back to the show, according to hollywookiee.com.
Chase, who played millionaire Pierce Hawthorne, left midway through the fourth season of “Community.”
The series, starring Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie and Gillian Jacobs, was recently renewed for a fifth season of 13 episodes.
